    Burgers with a Spicy Kick

    Ingredients

    1 onion, chopped fine
    2 teaspoons of minced garlic
    2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    2 tsp liquid smoke
    1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
    1 tsp pepper
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp ground mustard
    1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
    1/2 tsp lemon juice
    3 lbs. lean ground beef
    10 slices of Pepper Jack cheese
    10 split hamburger buns







    Directions

    Set the grill for medium temperature.
    Place the onion and garlic into a mixing bowl.
    Add the Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke.
    Add in the lemon pepper, pepper, salt, ground mustard and cayenne pepper.
    Pour the lemon juice into the mixture and stir to combine.
    Crumble the beef into the bowl and using your hands mix until all the ingredients are blended together well.
    Form the mixture into 10 patties.
    Grill the patties, uncovered for 8 minutes.
    Turn and continue grilling an additional 7 minutes or until cooked through.
    Place a slice of cheese onto each patty.
    Grill 3 minutes longer or until the cheese begins to melt.
    Serve on buns.

    Comments

    These burgers do have a kick and are sure to spice up any backyard party. The cayenne pepper is optional in this recipe.
